#C++ or C
Matt,
I guess I misspoke. I received and installed the 6.51 patch with my
upgrade.
The one thing I don't like about C++ for SAS is that it employs a C++
to C translator and then calls sc on the translated file. Consequently,
compiling a C++ file is SLOW. Of course, with a dedicated C++ compiler,
C++ compilation might still be slower than C, but I don't think this much
slower.
