Recent experience, in a nutshell: I was a Software Engineer at Commodore
for several years. I was involved first with the Amiga Networking Group,
where I worked on AS225 and wrote most of the SANA-II standard as well as
the Envoy specification documents. I later worked on testing of the
prototype and first build A1200 and A4000, as well as the testing and some
specification of the 8520 emulation in Akiko (ASIC in CD32) and testing of
CD32 prototypes. Since leaving Commodore, I've done Amiga and Unix
consulting, written several articles, published software and published a
book on the communications with the Amiga.
Before Commodore, I did lots of interesting things: statistical analysis
of data in a lab breeding new varieties of hops, a few years in a law
office, and other odds and ends.
