Al, you may want to look at back issues of AmigaWorld or Amazing to get reviews on both programs. Image FX seems to come off the better of the two image processing programs in the reviews. Also, updates seem to be more often as well. Personally, I use AdPro, but that is solely due to the fact that I can't afford to switch <grin>. As someone has pointed out, these are image processing programs, not paint programs. For a paint program, I have only one suggestion although I should point out that you may want to consider a program that is 100% compatible with your video board, whatever that is. These beasties are highly subjective. My suggestion is that you try a few of the freebies/shareware over in AmigaArts first to get a handle on what your needs are, then look for reviews to determine which matches your needs. I can't help you with the rest, save that both AdPro and ImageFX are able to convert between Windows graphics and Amiga format. I hope this helps.
