To all.. I need some info on 24 bit boards. Is any one board faster than another? Does any board do ham 8 ? Will a 2000 with an 040 and a 24 bit board move graphics (256 color) faster than a 4000? Is there an advantage to a retina z3 as opposed to a z2 when used in a 2000? Will a z3 work in a 2000? (if it will, then I can move it into my 4000 when I buy one 🙂 Are all boards upwardly or downwardly compatible? Does the GVP Spectrum address the 32 bit expansion bus that was put in the Gforce 040 board (for just such an occasion)? Does any board excel at emulating the AGA chipset? Did you ever notice that no matter how much milk you put in your oatmeal, it's still the same consistency?
