#Weird Toaster Problem
I have a very unusual Toaster problem that I'm hoping someone has a
solution for. It's hard to describe, but it goes like this: The
problem only occurs after about a half hour of the hardware being
on…the system works great for that first half hour. The symptom is
that Lightwave pictures, when viewed on the Program output, have
little "pixel rips" (for lack of a better term) or strips of pixels
that are the same basic color of the surrounding pixels but much
"brighter". These little rips are not present on the Amiga monitor,
nor are they in saved IFF or Framestores, but seem to be an output
symptom seen only when the hardware has been turned on more than half
an hour. In other words, if I view that same Lightwave output just
after I turn the system on (when it's still cold??), the little rips
aren't present. I've also tried viewing Framestores in DV1 or DV2
with no difference.
Does anyone have a clue as to what could be causing this ???
Thanks for your help.
