Here's how I do it in 3.1 Create a key page in CG, and render it to disk for speed (opt.). Go to the switcher. Punch up the source you want to key over on the top bus (or both busses if you want). Load the CG page, then tap the space bar and the super will dissolve in, tap the space bar again and the super fades out. I hope this is what you're looking for.
