I'd suggest trying to get a copy of Understanding Imagine 2.0 published by Apex, the company that produces Essence Textures. They may even be planning an update to 3.0. I found it very helpful. Stay with the program. It does take awhile to learn your way around, especially if you have used paint software where responses to choices show up directly on screen. The other thing you can do is what you just did…log on here and ask. There's a lot of helpful people here who'll help you over the tough spots. George
