Yes, forever means forever, and if it works on yours, it should work on
his. Either 1) there is something he missed on his system, and it is not
"stripped" to the point that yours is, or 2) it was a fluke. Did he try it
more than once? Does it happen every time? Are there any patterns, like how
long it takes to fail, time of day, network shuts down, anything like that?
