Well, the ZedRexx package just arrived today! Unfortunately, David
has't finished the documentation, so the preliminary docs are very brief. The
letter promised that the completed docs would be sent (no charge) as soon as it
was completed.
I'll try to spend some time with it this weekend to see what it's like.
I have several different scripts with apig GUIs which are perfect for
conversion, but the conversion may not be quick, given the learning curve.
I sent a brief note to Junod suggesting that he may want to consider a
mod to get rid of the INTERPRET and to write the "rp" libs so a ZedRexx script
might be compiled with RexxPlus. Of course, if Dineen Edwards is no longer
around, that may be an unnecessary suggestion!
In fact, the PC Rexxes do quite a lot of things nowadays. I
particularly was intrigued by Visual Rexx for OS/2, which is sort of a rexx
version of visual basic. Talk about a full blown programming environment! I
suggested to Junod that he might try to make that marriage between ZedRexx and
CanDo, a true visual rexx for the Amiga.
