3DS writes to the R11 DXF format, with all objects becoming Polyface Meshes.
Are the AutoCAD DXF files that you are importing to Multi-Surf meshes as well?
I'm very suprised that the AutoCAD DXF's are coming in but the 3DS DXF's are
not. Do the edges display when they are in 3DS?
…..or are you talking about bringing in "Mulit-Surf" DXF's into 3DS?
