Hello Ara, I read your new sound IPAS description with great interest. I would be one of the first customers. I have a work-around that does the same job using two PCs. One is running 3DS and the other is running Adobe Premier, with a wave table sound blaster card (AWE-32). I am doing my lip sync work by animating a scene in the 3DS keyframer, and saving a 30 FPS preview .FLI. Then I exit to dos, and load Lap Link. I send the .FLI to Adobe Premier in computer #2, and import it into a new project. I have already recorded the sound on my sound blaster card as an 8 bit file. I load that wave file into the same project. In premier I can do a preview of the sound and picture together without having to create a movie (takes too much time). I move the slider and watch the time code readout in the Premier preview player window. It has good resolution, and if you align the begining of the flick and the wave file correctly, you can make up a bar chart for music and dialogue and chart your lip and sound sync. It would be nice to be able to run Adobe Premier from a window within 3DS. Then you could do it all in one machine. I hope my work-around gives you some ideas. Regards, Sanford Kennedye
