AM Labs 15561 Wright Brothers DR. Addison, TX 75244 Phone: 214)960-7915 FAX: 214)960-1969 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE AM LABS INTRODUCES 3D STUDIO DEVELOPMENT PLATFORMS Green Bay, WI, August 29, 1994– Today, at the 1st Annual "3D Digital Artist's Conference & Training Seminars," AM Labs demonstrated a Windows based network rendering platform for Autodesk's 3D Studio animtaion software package. Named "Render Garden," the machine boasts (5) Intel 486DX2/66 CPU's, 48MB RAM, and 2.5 GB of distributed hard drive space. Additional configurations include the "Render Farm" (based upon Intel Pentium 60/66Mhz) and "Render Jungle" (based upon Intel Pentium 90/100Mhz CPU's). Also introduced, was a new productivity software package named "GreenHouse." This neat utility installs under the Windows operating system to allow the animator to monitor multiple network rendering processes from any machine connected to the network. An obvious (and dramatic) improvement in rendering time without the problems associated with the use of an existing LAN environment makes theis combination of hardware and software a sure hit in the Autodek 3D Studio animation theater. KILLER!!!!!!!!!
