James I just ran a test on the DTS modules (one of the benefits of DTS is that it is entirely modular). Address Book took up 4% or resources and Calendar 6%. These are the two most major modules and I assume the most resource hungry. In practise, you're never going to consume 18%-24% (or whatever the quote was) as you are unlikely to run all the modules at the same time; you're just going to run what you need, some of which you may opt to leave running, but most of which you'll shut when you've finished with them. I even hear a rumor that the forthcoming release (4.1b, due out very shortly, as in within weeks) includes a utility that monitors all modules, whether or not they are running, and reports when an alarm crops up in any one or all of them. It is my understanding that this particular utility consumes 0% (zero percent) of system resources. Doesn't get much more frugal than that. As a long-time user, DTS is a very good bet, IMO. I haven't looked at much of the competition, just Organizer, InfoCentral, Sidekick/Win and PackRat, but DTS beats what I've seen. Try it out. I don't think you'll be disappointed. David
