Thomas, All my comments are from a forensics point of view, if this is not what you are wanting then let me know. I've never used a plug-in for getting vehicles to move, the numbers have always come from the expert. There is however a couple of programs that do what you are talking about, but I have never talked with anyone thats using them for this purpose. I have seen where forensic animators are using programs like EDSMAC and importing the data into 3DS. I have used a spreadsheet and saved the data in an ASCII file and then used a script called "Nodeftch.k3d to import the data, this really helps. Below is a message about Keyfactory, hope this helps. If I'm not on the right track, ask again and maybe I can do better next time. ************************************************************************** I just got my Keyfactory from Schreiber Instruments, MAN THIS IS NICE, you oughta check it out! This is the good stuff! Sorry to be rambling, but boy, am I impressed. This dynamic/static motion IPAS really has it all. You can even have actions happen at collisions etc. (like automatic scaling to make the impacting object deform, jitter, squash, unhiding AXP objects etc.). Trailing, peeling off to follow another object, orbiting, exploding, imploding and so on. Highly recommended… Jack The Very Impressed (and now savings lots of time animating the easy way) ************************************************************************** The list that Anne Brown(SYSOP) is talking about is called "Forlst.txt" and its in the "Index & Info" library. Its a list of 22 forensic animators throughout the U.S.. Everyone is welcome to add their name to the list if they are producing forensic animations, how about you? If you are interested, then DL the list and follow the format in the list, please include all subject titles. Regards……………Rick – Technical Animations
