Make a new material just for the front faces which has the tool box material PLUS vary.sxp as the opacity map – in the setup make the start colour pure white, the end colour pure black and then set the frame range (start/end frames) as the range to turn from opaque to transparent. Example: become transparent from frame 80 to 100 – start frame = 80, end frame = 100. Simple and very adjustable. Martin
