#PVR problems
spot of bother with the PVR,
running the PVR (with capture board) in a dual Pentium 100 ASUS m/board (1 cpu
installed) EISA/PCI, Seagate 4gb HD for PVR use, 128Mb ram, Seagate 2.1gb HD
for DOS, WFW 3.11.
When bringing sequences of .tga files in the process just stops after about
150. No error message or anything. Won't go beyond that.
Also, backgrounds seem to be skewed and distorted sometimes.
Sometimes frames that were frame rendered look like they have fields – almost
as if the fields were offset horizontally. Image looks fine in other graphics
packages.
Quite a few problems with the hardware, so far.
DPS has suggested we may need to make the CPU run at 90 instead of 100Mhz. Any
ideas? Anybody else having any bother?
