Jeff, I am (as I write this) trying a jumper setting on the Asus m/board which may slow down the PCI bus to 30Mhz. Fingers crossed it will work. If not I need to get a new m/board for it anyway and I'll get a 90Mhz one with enough slots for the PVR and a sound card. Right now I don't have the room for a sound card – bummer. Right symptoms sound like mine, WRT the horizontal shift. I do highlight the entire sequence. I thought that was the way to do it. Hmm. I'll try that again with your method. It seems like you need Premiere 4.0a at a minimum to make good use of the PRV, although I've had good luck with the playlist feature. Thanks for your suggestions. I'll let you know if they work.
