Keep an eye on your mailbox as the sorely missed Spline Patch Modeller is being
given away free to all registered users of 3DS. The new IPAS was developed by
Minerva and supposedly will be sent out in about 4 weeks or so.
Autodesk was demoing 3D Surfer at the booth here at SIGGRAPH. There is
mention of this in Gary Yost's uploads from yesterday morning.
You won't believe how well 3DS MAX handles splines, no need for a workstation
any more.
