Hope you aren't running a Zeos system. I had one that's been totally transformed, partially because of a mysterious HDD controller failure that was intermittent. I replaced HD cables, made sure they were tight and properly connected. The system was never transported. It would operate fine one day, and the next it would give the error message. I eventually replaced the whole motherboard with one that was up to date and more capable and ALSO did NOT have a built in controller interface.
