Scott,
The TV screen height to width is 4 by 3. Which makes 640 by 480 the correct
ratio (1.0 aspect ratio). The PAR is at 752 pixels across so renderin to
.851 aspect ratio is needed to keep things from being distorted.
(752 x .851 = 640)
So you'll have to do a little math to your scan. In Photoshop everything
has a 1 aspect so you'll have to multiply the width by 1.175 (640 x 1.175 =
752) and plug in that number with proportion lock OFF. It will of course
look stretched but will have the correct proportions for the PAR.
Easier yet… just take your scan into 3DS as a background and render to
752 by 480 by .851 with background set to RESCALE in the render dialog box.
Should take care of it.
