>> 1. Allow multiple WAV files to be attached to an animation and launched at
specific frames? <<
multiple WAV files can be combined and attached to any portion of animation.
>> 2 Does it loop wav files? <<
it can, yes.
>> 3. Will it mix and play more than 1 wav file at a time? <<
most definitely.
>> 4. How strong is the synchronization between animation and sound (i.e. will
sound effects stay in synch on differing systems , 586 vs. 486) <<
yes. if the animation itself plays faster, the sound plays faster with it. the
synchronization is so tight that you can literally paint to the soundtrack,
frame by frame.
>> 5. Does it offer any fadein and fadeout on wav files? <<
yes. the soundlab module offers enveloping on all its filters including volume
control.
>> 6. Can it play a MIDI file in the background while wav files are used for
sound effects? <<
you can combine any combination of sounds in soundlab to a sound track…
music, special effects, etc all can get combined in any order to a single track
which can then be played separately from an animation or combined with an
animation into a movie file.
