Hmmmph. Thanks for the detailed report on the AmaxIV. It does sound much
like the Emplant. (The Emplant preferences was recently revamped to cover
most of the video, RAM, and I/O parameters.)
You say the video is _slower_ than the Emplant emulator? (I didn't think
it was possible. :^)
My main complaint about the Emplant is that they promise the world,
then take long time to get it working – though eventually they
_do_…..
I guess I'll just stick with the Emplant. Maybe they'll eventually get
the SCSI bugs out, and then I'll have the benefit of a fully working
SCSI. Until then, I'll have to limp along with the 2091 I've got in
my 4000. (Yechh!)
