Ben, I did speedometer ratings on Amax IV and it benchmarks just about the same as Emplant. The only difference I noted to Erik was on the video benchmark in 16 color mode. As I remembered from when I had an Emplant the video benchmarked slightly below 1.0 (1.0 = Mac II), whereas the Amax IV on a 3000T with ECS chipset and no video board benchmarked at 0.650 using a refresh timeout similar to that I used on the Emplant. The video is a little jerky during the benchmark test. However, the b/w benchmark was 1.87 (1.0 = Mac II). I believe these are in the Emplant's ballpark, if I remember correctly. Other benchmarks put the Amax IV on my 3000T at just about the same as Emplant was on my 3000.
