What gives Foster?! << I can say with a great deal of certainty that NO Softimage was used in the Herbie Hancock video. Almost every company seemed to be claiming a part of it – and we did use quite a lot of software, but no Softimage. 3ds was used to model the dancing biped and exported to Kinemation for animation, then rendered in Renderman (probably). 3ds was used to model, animate, and render: the scorpion, the centipede, the sphincter plant, the lamprey plant, and the underwater type plant.
