Erik, I think I ordered it about mid-July, and received it in about a week. I remember having about a week to play with it, then I had to got to Yuma AZ for 10 days. Once I got back to San Diego, I commuted to SIGGraph for the last four days. With some help form DPS at SIGGraph, I finally got it working. It really wasn't hard, once I had some time to spend on it. Unfortunately, I haven't received the NT software yet. It's functional under vanilla WfWG 3.11, but you can't render direct to the PVR, so it eats system disk space until you compile. As to converting PAR animations, the PVR manual says, and I quote: "On the surface, this seems to be a simple issue, but it is actually fairly complicated. Because the PAR uses D2 scaling and the PVR uses D1 scaling, there is no direct integer conversion of compressed images possible." "1. The preferred method is to import your original uncompressed RGB image files into the PVR. 2. …the next best conversion would involve playing back a PAR animation while capturing the component output with the AD-2500 real time capture daughter card. 3. Lacking an AD-2500, you can export stored PAR animations as sequential Targa or IFF files and then import these files into the PVR." Well, actually I paraphrased a bit, but you get the idea. Hope this helps. -Kent S. Lidke
