As of January 1st, 1995, all purchasers of Video Toaster 3.1/3.5 will receive a
complete update, free, to Toaster 4.1/LightWave 4.0. Of course, the LightWave
4.0 will not be a standalone version.
Here is the content of the fax we received 6/2/95.
"New Video Toaster 4000s shipping after May 22, 1995 will contain the Video
toaster System 3.5 software and manual until further notice. Those customers
purchasing Video Toaster 4000s after January 1, 1995 are still entitled to a
free upgrade to a Video Toaster System 4.0 once the 4.1 revision is complete.
Make sure customers register their Toasters so their upgrade will be sent as
soon as possible."
