Ed, The bit about putting a dissolve between cuts. I noticed this just yesterday. I had a bunch of straight cuts and it studder on each cut. I changed them to dissolves and the studdering cleared up. I also noticed that when I use the "camera shutter" effect or the "picture fly out" that studdering happens later in the project. Take these effects out and it clears up. Of course, both of these effects have sound and I remember at NAB, something was said about sound effects causing problems. Sorry to jump in like this, but I was just going to post the same difficulty. Great minds think alike. Fred
