#Micropolis A/V HDs
My two 9 G Micropolis 1991 drives have been performing O.K. I think. Some
problems with video stuttering during transistions for the longer projects and
when the drives get near full (5 or less minutes left). I did have a problem
with the signal cutting out on one drive, but that problem has not surfaced
since I shuffled a couple of larger clips between A and B. I do get the audio
stuttering sometimes with split edits. (I'm using 4.04).
All in all, It's hard to tell what are Micropolis problems and what are Flyer
problems that will be fixed in 4.05. My dealer (Ian Swanick of Slipped Disk
who contributed to some replies on this thread) seems to think 4.05 will fix
most of my problems.
Now if only someone will (quickly) come up with a timeline interface or wedding
software package so I can edit all these two and three camera wedding
ceremonies that my wife is so good at selling!
