I am looking for a diffinitive list of flyer compatable drives. Someone at your tech support informed one of my flyer users the drives (QUANTUM4.0 GIG) ARE NOT newtek approved. We have had alot of trouble withthis system and the client is becoming upset ,again, with me and the company for which I work. Bartha Visual, partners plus dealer, has been bending over backwards to make these people happy. I have two other systems in place that have difficult problems plaguing me. A4000 with flyer and micropolis 2 gig drive that will stutterwhen an effect is placed between two clips that are consecutive on a drive but will work properly if one of the clips are placed on the B drive. I seems the flyer is not auto copying to the alt drive to a/b roll sequential clips. It does cut edits perfectly. The most recent problem is on another 4000 flyer which will stutter the audio(V4.04). In a recent VTU they suggest a way to ramp audio down from a fixed level then ramped back up. The audio also does not fade properly. As the sales and tech support I would appreciate kept informed about undocumented additional recording resolutions( HQ5). A client told me about it. This is the same client mentioned last. He also has reservations about the quality of the EP resolutions to be used with tape captured from a Panasonic SUperCam and played on a Panasonic AG7650. These are very good decks we sold him. He has doubt about keeping the system. Any support you can offer will be great. Thanks. Larry Hetterscheidt Bartha Visual 1-614-291-4585
