that little WTEST thing is odd. Seems like we have to re-establish the DOS
Driver over the Windows driver. Actually grateful to be down to such minor
esoterics. One bizarre thing left — Word for Windows 2.0 can't handle the
WACOM <LOL> so i'll just type everything in NOTEPAD or DOS EDIT. Two more tips
I picked up: 1) pen windows = penwin.dll in your SYSTEM.INI file causes
WRITE.EXE to become inoperable and that is documented in the readme file.
However, it says in the readme file you can remove it from the SYS file…
*NOT*. 2) When in DOS and launching a program, keep your stylus away from the
tablet. It can cause a data spool and crash the WACOM. If you pick up any hints
on your side pass them on. Gotta tell you, I had two really bad days trying to
work all this out— mostly due to bad WACOM documentation. Technology works,
