Martin, Ok, here's some of my favorites… 1. Another vote for "Animation from Script to Screen". 2. "Cartoon Animation" by Preston Blair, Walter Foster pub. A reference for basic animation techniques. 3. "The Animator's Workbook" by Tony White, Watson Guptill pub. Similar to "Cartoon Animation". 4. "The Human Figure in Motion" and "Animals in Motion" by Eadweard Muybridge, Dover pub. High speed photographs for character animation reference. 5. "Color Drawing" by Micheal Doyle, Van Nostrand Rienhold pub. Presents architectural rendering techniques with colored pencil and marker. I found much of the information about mood, composition, color theory, and materials delineation applicable to 3DS work. 6. "Rendering with Markers" by Ronald Kemnitzer, Watson Guptill pub. Similar to "Color Drawing" but focusing on industrial design. Steven
