There's a book that I'm still working my way through, "Sight, Sound, Motion: Applied Media Aethetics", by Herbert Zettl. It's pretty heavy, but, presents visual story telling concepts in a unique and , I think, profound way. Definely worth a browse at you local well-stocked bookstore. Those who need a good reference text for video might look at, "Today's Video", Peter Utz. While books like this are out-of-date before they even hit the bookshelves, this one does a great job presenting the basics and more. It helped me get my home video bay setup. BP
