Orange Screen on Start
My Amiga 4000 timed out while networked, as usual, to two MIPS machines for
animation rendering. I now get a flash of orange screen on start-up, then
nothing with the hard drive light flashing at regeular 4 second intervals
instead of its usual noise followed by loud whirling of the second Maxtor
drive.
It has a SCSI II adaptor,4091, Ethernet card, Toaster card, 16 mb RAM
Megachip.
We've had a heat wave here that has caused irratic behavior. Is this a
permanent serious hardware problem or will it fix itself after a days rest
as it often does.
