Hi I, too, would appreciate any information you managed to get on the subject, especially re opening the new screen modes automatically, the screen tags, etc.! Funny old world… just when the Amiga got some useful O/S stuff, that could really create good app interfaces it went belly up. And of course, the old idiotic C= policy of not releasing programming details except to registered developers under non-disclosure agreements, means that all keen non-reg developers are left in limbo. All I can offer you at the moment is info from the v3.0 "C" header files, and even with these I am not sure of their copyright status…with the current terminally comatose state of the Amiga I doubt if anyone gives two hoots anyway… I know of no books whatsoever on the subject. CATS used to offer a good "V3.1 info/dev 5-disk pack" (with autodocs and docs + examples for all the new stuff… even PCMCIA!) for $30US, but, as far as I know, they are dead and gone now too ; so unless someone managed to get hold of it before the collapse, AND is willing to resell it, we are out of luck. ANYONE OUT THERE? PLEASE?? If you have a sense of humour, you might try writing to ESCOM to enquire who is currently responsible for the old CATS stuff – by rights it should belong to ESCOM now, but I doubt if they will know the first thing about it. I do not even know whether ESCOM have support for registered devlopers at the moment! Good luck Alex
