Greetings from an American in Germany!
I am very happy with my Apollo. I was, however, very disappointed with the
documentation, and instructions. I'm no stranger to tricky instalations, but I
had to eventually call a hot line in Germany to ask how to get the damn thing
to work. They gave me a series of instructions that had NOTHING to do with the
booklet that came with the card.
The worse thing that happened was I lost my MemoryMaster 8MB card, as it was
not compatable with the Simm setup on the Apollo board. Still, the board works
very well…(I had to fork out money for 8MB of course for the board…which I
didn't plan on doing.) It takes a little longer to "boot", but works great for
my applications.
Hope that helps. I guess the main thing to find out would be if you would have
any other card conflicts. I must say, when I asked the guy on the hot line if I
might have trouble with my memory master card, he said.."Hmm could be…"
