Aren't your other scsi devices running of of your GVP scsi port? If you
have OS 3.1, you should have a workbench driver for your CDRom. I kind of
thought I had a handle on these machines, but last night I couldn't get the PC0
icon to work on my A4000 at work. I have an A4000 at home that works fine, an
A2000 at work that works fine, but my A4000 at work will not give me the
PC0????, nor will it acknowledge a PC disk, either low or high density. I get
the message that PC0: is already mounted, but nothing shows up. Sounds a
little like your problem. I had my CDRom drive hooked up to my Warp Engine and
only had to drop the icon into the devs/DOSDrivers drawer, no mountlist entry
was needed.
