I know, I know… you are right of course.
asl 40.6 (7.5.93) was distibuted with OS 3.1 and asl 39.4 (18.8.92) with OS
3.0.
I made a mistake when checking the 3.0 and 3.1 Workbench Disks with the
'version df0:libs/asl.library' command in a 2.1 environment without the 'FILE'
option – which gave me wrong results.
I had to know better by checking the Autodocs_3.1/doc/asl.doc file, but I
wanted to get the version actually distributed on the Disks.
Shame on me!
