Frederic, I suggest _affordable_ (like in: PC) networking. That would include Ethernet/Token Ring boards with prices only marginally higher than comparative PC boards, and the conversion of as many client packages (Novell 3.x/4.x, WfW/MSN, etc., plus – if at all possible – routers to SQL database server packages, ODBC and xBase. This would furthermore be aided by the availability of TrueType fonts on OS level which is necessary for document exchange with "industry standard" platforms. Finally we need something revolutionary for printing (with outline support) on OS level. Look at Windows3.x/Windows 95 for a good example. We don't necessarily need OS emulation for other platforms if only we can exchange documents (not limited to text) with them. Oh, I forgot – definitively we need the famous RTG which were promised by C= but never made it. This means that ALL software (including Games!) must be able to run on all graphics boards which conform to the standard. In addition, there should be some kind of driver which emulates all hardware calls on the graphics board so most (if not all) old software could be run on the board. Thanks for your efforts to keep our Amiga in the picture! Cheers, // Christian "ELP" Busse \X/ near Frankfurt, Germany
