Hi John, nice to hear from you. I recently did a job with Scala. I was an awards dinners honoring outstanding achivement in news reporting. The event was held at Merv Griffin's Resots Casino in Atlantic City. (that should read "Resorts" casino) I did 75 pages of text and graphics, and ran two video projectors and a few slide units. As catagories and winners were announced, I would display the title pages and run slide stills and video. I even did an animation using your "word" graphic as a texture map.(World graphic…Boy am I glad that I used a spell checker on the awards show !!!!) Gannet news agency,as well as ABC Primetime and ABC News turning point were big winners. I recieved many compliments on my presentation, and much to my surprise, every one seemed to know who Scala was, and that it runs on an Amiga !!!! BTW, shuffler saved the day, when, at the _last_ minute (of course) the entire order of the show was changed, and several special merit awards added.If I was running a Cyron i would have jumped out the window! I hope all is well at Scala. BTW, are you guys making any arrangements with Escom, and how are your Scala ports comming along (Need any Beta Testers ? 🙂 Mike Brennan, Sir Render A/V
