Lyndon,
<Got file onto hard drive, and CLI snears at my attempts to do anything to it.
More specific "then you decompress it advice?>
You will need LHA. It can be downloaded from the AmigaUsers library
Achivers/crunchers as LHA138.run. It is self extracting. From a cli line, in
the directory where you have this file type:
LHA138.run
It will unpack itself. Copy the executable (LHA) to your c: directory. Then
change directories to where you have the Cannon driver file and type:
lha x filename.lha
("filename" being the exact name of the compressed file including the
extension)
It should unpack just fine. From there, you copy the driver into
Devs/printers. There is a program in Prefs that will allow you to set this
driver as the default printer driver for your system. It should then work.
Hope this is the help you needed!
Asha
