#Quantum Failings
I thought about the possibility of a PARITY problem, but the only jumps which
could be set on or off are the 3 scsi id jumps, the rest are soldered to the
drives board.
I've tried the drive terminated and Unterminated, even when it was the only
drive available..
I've recently tried testingthe drive by switching on the power but not the
controller or computer, again the drive span into action, shifted its head(s)
about and then stopped spinning. Me thinks this hd is dead!
But, as the wise old owl does, i'll listen to, and try any ideas which come my
way..
( aha! theres the soldering iron and sucker )
