CompuServe Messages

Hi Hank, first of all, the 'find buffer' and 'cache miss' are known bugs in ThorTCP. I get them too and they are supposed to be fixed in the next release. In the meantime, just avoid reading and getting messages at the same time. If you use CompuServe to get onto Internet you won't be able to use 'Get Mail' because CIS does not support POP3. As a result of this, you shouldn't use 'Do All' either. But 'Get News', 'Browse News' and 'Send Events' should work fine. Check ConfigTCP. Newsserver should be 'news.compuserve.com'. Also check you have a 'system' setup in Thor (not ThorTCP!). The 'systemtype' should be TCP as well. If it isn't, 'get Conferencelist' will not show up as an option in the Dock-window. If 'Send Events' says it's already done, it probably means you got nothing to send. You can check which events are not done yet by using 'Events' in the Dock-window. If you can't get it to work, enter Thor, open your 'system' and choose 'Dock' from the 'Windows'-menu. Tell me what options are listed there.
