Hi Christiane,
First of all, the safest way to get out is: first make a backup (Don't make it,
if you want to gamble <bg>)
Then you can download Disksalv (DSALV.LHA in this forum), unpack it and let it
run over your harddrive. I never had a harddrive-problem, which couldn't be
solved by that program. I never had to use my backups. But please make it
anyway.
