OK – let's try again, Rod., First, you seem to have LHA138.RUN on a floppy disk. Let's try it the easiest way – right on that disk. These ought to do it: Put the disk in df1, and then open a shell and type: CD DF1: LHA138.RUN (you should see the names of the files as they unpack) DIR (This will show you the files that came out of LHA138.RUN) COPY LHA C: (will copy the LHA file to your c: directory) Now, your floppy ought to contain LHA138.RUN, LHA, and a doc file. Now, if you type in your shell or CLI: lha you should get a list of very obscure, hard-to-understand docs. <g> All you really need to know about those docs are that you use this command line to unpack things: lha x path:filename Suppose that you have a floppy with AP.LHA and you want to unpack that. Step by step, you'd type this: CD DF1: lha x AP.LHA and it would unpack AP.LHA into a LOT of files. In this case, you'd then open the icon for the disk, then click on the Installer icon, and it would install itself for you. MANY of our programs have Installer icons these days. Not all, but lots.
