Soon it won't be locale that will determine if you or I get the client. It'll be the work. Get ready to start sending out demo reels electronically 'cause it's going to happen! Another advantage of joining a group of animators is spillover work. Often local production companies, who may have an inhouse graphics person, simply don't have the time or expertise to complete a complicated animation.
