That would be great but I don't see it happening, not for quite a while. You'd
need a hundred fold increase in the band width to start pushing digital video
files around the web. Jeese even those crummy tiny little quicktime movies take
forever to download. I have some animations I'd love to share with everyone
here on CIS, but who the heck would want to download a 20 to 40meg file!?
(Besides they are all Vlab-Motion scene files. You'd need a VLM system to play
them.) That is why we have in the past had "Amiga Gang" animation swaps on
video tape via snail mail! 🙁
