John, There was some more info out last week, in which Telecom were expecting to get 300,000 plus people onto a fibre optic network. I cant recall the time range but it seemed to be this year or next. The article quoted about 1.3 million on fibre optical networks next year in the USA. Exciting times as the saying goes…… It has been interesting here to see the newsmedia/Microsoft "launch" of internet here. Scare/horror tactics from the anti factions have been getting the main exposure. I seem to recall that the printing press had the same or similar responce in the distant past. Woops, there goes a butterfly…:) It makes me ponder what liberalising etc effects it will have on society, politics, power, democracy, education. Looks kind of neat to me.
