#Help w. titling proj.
I'm still learning tips and tricks with my Video Toaster. I was hoping one
of you guys out there could help me with a "project" involving titles with a
cable show I'm doing for some friends.
Basically they wanted the titles to slowly appear with the beats of the
music. I won't use the actual show's title, so I'll use my name as in example.
I'm hoping someone can tell me how to do the following with CG and the Toaster:
Step 1: Black Screen
Step 2: First beat comes up with music and title "Chris" appears.
Step 3: Next beat and the title "Shepard" appears below it.
Step 4: Final beat and the titles "Productions Presents" appears below
both "Chris" and "Shepard" titles.
When the show's title page is done it will look like this after step 4:
CHRIS
SHEPARD
Productions
Presents
Each line appears with certain "key beats" of the intro music. Is there a
technique that will allow me to do that on my Toaster equipped A2000? Getting
the first line to fade or appear in Step 1 is easy. It's just keeping it on
the screen and making the second and final titles appear sequentially with the
following music beats without them fading off screen.
I hope this explains the ideal "project" that our producer would like to
have done for the show. He's willing to settle for a simple "title page",
since our budget is low. However, if I can pull this off with the Toaster,
he'd be a very impressed man. Can you help if this is possible?
Waiting for the MacroSystem's 060 accelerator to be released.
