Dear Ralph, I'm afraid I haven't worked through your Flying Pigs tutorial
yet. I started on the Glass + Reflections book as it's something I find a bit
difficult, and the Animals Book as I couldn't resist trying to build a dragon
(my Welsh blood). Yours is the next on my list and I'll certainly mail you with
feedback.
Whilest I agree with the comments that the 'Inside' books have far
superior detail in depth and make very good reference books especially when you
have a specific problem, I still really like the 'freindlier' style of the Tips
n Tricks which at least take you through all the way from 2d lofter to rendered
animation without having to work through to page 500 ( a third into the book, I
still didn't feel like I had any sort of overview of the whole system and was
starting to despair). The tips give you much needed early encouragement.
