<I'm not sure what's strange in the offer, the fact that it's less expensive to upgrade before we ship or…?> The fact that it costs more to buy it after it ships. Seems strange, to me. I guess you *could* say it is a discount to users willing to commit now. The way my firm works, unfortunately, is that the higher cost may be viewed as a penaly to for upgrading later. This is because, we work on four quarter cash basis, as the end of the year comes closer, more and more restrictions are placed on spending. Especially this year (tough year). So, since we will not purcahse, probably, until into the first quarter, it costs us 2x as much to upgrade! But, you can bet I will make a case about the lower cost if we lock in our upgrade now. However, as I said in another message, I would like to see the product up and running before I commit, and your schedule may not allow this….. -Mike.
